Die is ‘n foto van die Boesmansrivier (die tweede langste gety rivier in Suid-Afrika) se mond tydens laagwater. Dit is ongelooflik hoe veel anders die rivier lyk as dit hoogwater is.

I’m very pleased with our 1st Photographer of the Year competition so far. The first category (people) closed on the 14th and we’re about to anounce the winners. We had more than 250 entries for this category alone. áIf anyone wants to enter don’t hesitate to do so at Photographer of the Year website. It…

I’ve just seen on Scott Kelby’s blog (at http://www.scottkelby.com/blog/2007/archives/211) that Lightroom is set to release a minor upgrade any day now. If you are in London, you can go the exhibition at the Natural History Museum in Kensington. My favourite image is of two young tigers, but unfortunately it…

We went to see the annual fireworks at Clapham Common on Friday. I wanted to experiment with night time photography as I’d not really had any success with this before. I did learn a lot and I’m looking forward to the next oppurtunity, but I do think I managed to take some nice ones. View…

We have been threatening for a while to visit Kew Gardens, so today we finally made the effort. And it was worth it! The gardens are huge and really beautiful. Obviously the autumn shades make the gardens even more spectacular. Dale Chihuly currently has a “Gardens of Glass” exhibition on display throughout the gardens as…
