Nikkor 18-200mm VR tames the Common

Wimbledon Common

I finally found the time to test my new Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens. I went to the Wimbledon Common, one of my favourite places in the world, at magic hour (1 hour before sunset) and played around a bit. Although there is much to learn, I am very pleased with the initial results.

Also notice the difference between the luscious greens from a few weeks ago and the present tawny colours. Both are beautiful, but you can see why they say this is London’s driest summer in 30 years.

    Can you take a couple of photos for comparason next time. Same subject and settings, but change the lenses.
